  Renaissance School envisions a community that embraces timeless values, awakens the human spirit and ignites a life-long love of learning.

Renaissance School is currently accepting applications for teachers and assistants interested in creating an environment which allows children to feel safe, cherished, and empowered.

The following full time opportunities are available:


IN OUR TODDLER PROGRAM:

Qualifications:
Teacher:

RIE certification, AMS Infant/Toddler certification, and /or AMI 0-3 certification Applicants must have knowledge of child development and the Montessori Infant curriculum.
Assistant teacher:
A calm and observant caregiver who respects the individual needs of children. Knowledge of Montessori philosophy as well as child development would be an asset.

Responsibilities include:
  • Care giving
  • Diapering/Toileting
  • Feeding
  • Ability to observe
  • Classroom preparation
  • Interest in learning more about Montessori education
  • Willingness to work in a team environment


    IN OUR PRIMARY PROGRAM:

    Qualifications:
    Co-Teacher:

    AMS or AMI primary certification
    Assistant Teacher:
    A background in child development with a desire to explore and implement Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy of education.

    Responsibilities include:
    Implementing Montessori curriculum in a beautiful outdoor environment and extended day program.


    IN OUR ELEMENTARY PROGRAM:

    Qualifications:
    Co-Teacher:

    AMS or AMI elementary certification
    Assistant Teacher:
    A background in child development with a desire to explore and implement Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy of education.

    Responsibilities include:
    Implementing Montessori curriculum in a beautiful outdoor environment and extended day program as well as working in a 9-12 year old classroom.
